How long will it take for my order to show up?

Please allow 2-3 days, after order is confirmed, to package and ship; ground UPS is standard. Quicker processing may be available upon request, in order to meet your deadline.

Are LEDs able to produce enough light?

Yes, LEDs can produce the right amount of light with today’s technology. When used properly, LEDs will produce enough light to be comparable to Neon.

Are LEDs expensive?

LEDs are very competitive in cost when compared accurately to Neon. LEDs are a finished lighting product that does not require additional processing, extra equipment, or specially trained personnel to install them. This ease of use brings the cost of using LEDs below that of Neon.

Are LEDs reliable?

LEDs have been in use for over 30 years. They have provided light for over 10 years reliably. Originally, LEDs were used to indicate if a machine or a heart monitor was on or off. LEDs were accepted as the prime indicator for critical equipment especially in cases where a light failure could cause death. Other industries such as aviation, emergency vehicles, military, space travel, computers, and many others have already adopted LED lighting as the light source of choice. These industries have concluded that whenever they need a reliable light source, LED lighting is the answer.

Can LEDs save power?

LEDs are able to operate at a very low current ( 20 to 30 ma). They utilize as little as 1/10th of the power that neon uses. Many power companies are looking at this power savings and are considering ways to encourage the use of LEDs for signage. The savings in KwH pays for the LEDs initial cost in a reasonable time.

Can LEDs withstand outside temperatures?

LEDs have been used satisfactorily in extreme temperatures, however extreme heat will affect the total life of the led. In Las Vegas, LED billboards and message signs have seen high temperatures for several years.

The low temperatures seen by the LEDs that are used on the Alaska Pipeline control stations are extreme and are used specifically because of their dependability. LEDs will often withstand much more extreme temperatures than an exposed neon light or fluorescent.
